• Methods: Headphones measurement is part of the ARI HRTF measurement procedure, between inserting in-ear microphones, and measuring actual HRTFs. The subject is wearing headphones for one measurement, taking them off and on again, in order to repeat the measurement with slightly varying headphones' positions. The measurement is repeated 5 times. Typically Sennheiser HD-580 headphones are used. In-the-ear microphones (KE-4-211-2, Sennheiser) connected via amplifiers (FP-MP1, RDL) to the digital audio interface (ADI-8, RME). Left and right ears correspond to the first and second receivers, respectively.
